Once I had the energy back, I made a promise to myself: no more punishing workouts. I focused on daily walks: 30 to 60 minutes outside or on the treadmill, earbuds in, podcasts or music on, and zero pressure.
Movement became my therapy, not a chore.
Eventually, I started doing light strength workouts or Pilates a few days a week, but walking has stayed the core of my routine.
