Teaching our children the importance of giving with Kellogg's

Happy Monday!
I'm really excited about today's post because it includes some of my favourite things - baking, holidays & teaching my kids to have a giving heart.
Today, Luca and I made some really yummy Rice Krispie treats for a really great cause!
Christmas can be a very stressful time for families that don't have the money to purchase toys to put under the tree.
Kellogg's and The Salvation Army want to help create magical memories for children in need this holiday season & the best part is - YOU can help!
The concept is super easy!
Make, Share, Give
Make your favourite toy shaped Rice Krispie Treats and share on www.treatsfortoys.ca or on Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and Kellogg's will donate $20 to The Salvation Army to go towards providing toys for children in need this Christmas.
I had so much fun in the kitchen baking and teaching our three year old the importance of helping others.
I want our children to know that giving can feel just as good as receiving.
We made a robot & Luca was SO excited about it that he ate the robot before I could even take the after photo!
Gotta love the unpredictability of three year olds!
I hope you choose to participate in this amazing program and I am so excited to see all of your treats!
I was provided with free products from Kelloggs for this post.

How I keep a clean (enough) house with three kids

{My cousin Ashley & I at Spark Sessions}

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!
I had the pleasure of attending Spark Sessions this weekend & it left me feeling super motivated and inspired!
Anyone else have a sudden urge to deep clean the house when your feeling this way?
Something about a clean house just gets all my creative juices flowing!
Cleaninf is something I struggled to keep up with for a long time (especially as a busy mom of three).
It wasn't until I wrote out a weekly cleaning schedule that I was able to keep a clean (enough) house.

My Weekly Cleaning Schedule

M- Kitchen
T- Bedrooms
W- Living Room
Th- Declutter/Home Project
F- Bathrooms/Meal Plan
S- Wash Bedding
S- Rest

Above is the cleaning schedule I follow.
I have it written out on a piece of paper and stuck on the cork board in the kitchen as a daily reminder.
Of course life can get busy and it's easy to fall off schedule, but having this schedule written out makes the task of having a clean house seem far less daunting then it used to.
When I'm cleaning, I like to play loud music on my Star Wars Death War Bluetooth Speaker to make it that little bit more enjoyable!
Right now I'm obsessed with Blink 182's new album!
I was a little sceptical about Matt Skiba replacing Tom Delong, but we saw them back in the summer and he did not disappoint!
My favourite cleaning product to use is Pine Sol Lavender.
I'm obsessed with the smell of Lavender, so naturally this is my go to cleaning product!
{Random and super weird fact: when I was pregnant with our middle child, I craved the smell of Pine Sol - I wanted to clean ALL the time. }

Anyone else have weird pregnancy cravings? I'd love to hear what they were!
