A couple weekends ago my family and I hopped in the car to go shopping across the border.
I had heard a lot about Charlotte Russe but had never personally shopped there before.
Right when I walked in, I saw this gorgeous off the shoulder top hanging up and had to have it!
It's on sale right now for $11.99 so I had to share this deal with y'all!

I've also rounded up my favourite Charlotte Russe off the shoulder tops that are perfect for transitioning into Fall below.

TD Summer Reading Club

Every Summer, I take the kids to our local library to sign them up for the TD Summer Reading Club.
This is not a sponsored post in any way.
I love this program and will stand behind any initiative to encourage Children's reading.
We usually sign up at the start of Summer, but this year we were a little behind.
The great thing with this program is that you can start at any time and go at your own pace.

All you have to do is head into your local library and ask to sign up for the Summer Reading Club.
They will take down your info (library card, name etc.) and give your children a little booklet to log their reading.
This year, they also have an on-line logging option.
Each library runs their program a little differently.
Our library is doing is doing a fun PLANKO game as a way to get the kids excited about the program.
They have decks of cards by colour with different options like

"Watch a movie based on a book."

or

"Read a holiday book."

Luca landed on blue and chose the card that said "Read a holiday book." which he thought was so ridiculously funny haha
Emma got the movie option (these aren't the only two options) and chose Harry Potter.
Once they fill up their Log they get to choose a book to keep for FREE.

How do you encourage reading during the Summer months?

Zara Kids Clearance Haul

This is our nine year old Emma and she is pretty awesome!
She's at this incredible age where she's really starting to discover her own sense of style, so when she asked if she could fill up an online cart at her favourite store, Zara, of course I told her to go for it!
I told her she could spend up to $50 and encouraged her to check out the clearance section to get more bang for her buck!
I'm a sucker for a good clearance deal!
She called me down half hour later and had a full cart totalling just under $50!

These are the outfits she ended up with.

Green Jumper $5.99 | Check Shirt with Buttons $7.99 | Socks $7.99

Back To School Supply Checklist - Elementary with Staples Canada

I have partnered with YMC and Staples and have received compensation for this post.
All opinions are my own.

Happy first day of August!
Can you even believe we are here already?
While I'm a little sad that Summer is already half gone, my kids have been counting down the days until they get to see all their friends again.
My oldest has been begging me to go shopping for back to school supplies since mid July, so when I told her I was partnering with Staples she was thrilled.
Staples was the store my parents took me to each year to stock up on all my back-to-school needs and now I take my own children.
Staples is the top retail destination for back-to-school essentials and cover every age from Kindergarten - Post Secondary and beyond.
I've created a Back To School Supplies Checklist and linked some of my favourite items we found at
Staples below.

I love that Staples makes back-to-school shopping easy by giving the option to shop in-store, online or on their mobile app.
They also have a buy online, pick up in person option which is perfect for  busy moms!
They also have a great selection of office furniture and technology.
