Making Memories at Sherkston Shores

If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen that our family has been doing a lot of travelling the last couple of years.

A lot of those trips have been to the USA but to finish off our Summer Break we wanted to stay local.

 We had heard a few friends talk about Southern Ontario's Sherkston Shores, a resort located on over four kilometres of Lake Erie beachfront and we're so excited when they reached out to us about a partnership.

We stayed in the cottage above, which had a master bedroom and two smaller rooms with bunk beds, a full kitchen and living area.

We brought our own food to cook in the kitchen but Sherkston has a grocery store right on the resort with everything you need.

There's also a Boston Pizza right on the resort and a little cafe if you're not up to cooking yourself.

Our first evening, we visited the Fun Plex to play in the Arcade & participate in one of their many fun family events, Chocolate Bingo.

The kids declared this their favourite family vacation EVER after that first day and BEGGED us to buy a trailer on the resort so we could come back all the time!

This four day vacation was such a great family bonding experience.
It was so nice to play family games together and spend our days either playing at the Splash Park/Pools or looking for "treasures" on the beaches.
The highlight for the kids was probably getting around on a golf cart. 

You can rent them on site, but I recommend calling well ahead to reserve one as the sell out quickly.

We're already planning our next trip to Sherkston but this time, we plan on bringing our family and friends and renting a few cottages side by side!
