Two weekends ago, the family and I were invited by Elevation Pictures to the advance screening of LAIKA Studios' newest film, Missing Link.
You may have read the post all about my trip to Portland, Oregon, where I had the incredible opportunity to tour LAIKA Studios HERE.
I was very excited about the film after seeing how much work and love went into making it, but it far exceeded my expectations.
It's often hard to find a family-friendly movie that all five of us are excited about, but Missing Link is a movie the whole family can agree on.
This stop-motion animated film is the fifth movie from LAIKA Studios, who is also known for Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls, & Kubo and the Two Strings.
Everyone from toddlers to grandparents will love this film that is filled with adventure, humour and important life lessons.
To quote my eight year old:
"I loved literally everything about this movie"
This movie has jokes that will have both the kids and adults laughing and I promise that you will leave the theatre wishing you had a friend just like Mr. Link.
The movie stars Zach Galifianakis as Mr. Link, Hugh Jackman as Sir Lionel Frost and Zoe Saldana as Adelina Fortnight and is in theatres now.
